Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the alveswellness.com website and the services provided by Alves Wellness, a trade name of The Beauty Bar Skin Care & Makeup Studio, L.L.C., located at 1200 S Castle Dome Ave, Ste B, Yuma, Arizona 85365. By using this website, booking an appointment, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we provide
Alves Wellness provides machine-assisted lymphatic drainage sessions, also known as pressotherapy or compression therapy.
These are wellness services. They are not medical care, not massage therapy, and not a substitute for treatment by a licensed healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and we do not provide medical advice. If you have a medical condition or concern, consult a licensed physician.
2. Eligibility
Services are available only to individuals 18 years of age or older. By booking, you confirm you are 18 or older. Sessions are matched with a same-gender practitioner. We reserve the right to decline or postpone service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason — including if we believe a session may not be safe or appropriate for you.
3. Health screening and consent
Before your first session you must complete our health intake and screening form and sign our Informed Consent and Release of Liability.
You agree to answer all screening questions truthfully and completely, and to tell us before any session about any change in your health, including new medical conditions, medications, implanted devices, pregnancy, injury, or recent surgery or procedure.
We may require written clearance from your physician before providing services, and we may decline or postpone service if clearance is not provided.
4. Appointments
All services are by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins. See the booking and cancellation terms below.
5. Payment
Prices are as posted and may change without notice. Payment is due at or before your session unless you are using a prepaid package.
6. No guarantee of results
Results vary from person to person. We make no promise, guarantee, or warranty regarding any particular outcome. Nothing on our website, in our marketing, or said by our staff should be understood as a guarantee of results.
7. Website content
Content on this website is for general information only. It is not medical advice. Do not delay seeking medical care because of something you read here. We try to keep information accurate but do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, images, logos, and design — is owned by The Beauty Bar Skin Care & Makeup Studio, L.L.C. or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without written permission. "Ballancer" and "Ballancer Pro" are trademarks of their respective owner and are used here to identify the equipment.
9. Client photos
We do not photograph or record clients without separate written permission. Any client images used in our marketing are used with a signed media release.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, The Beauty Bar Skin Care & Makeup Studio, L.L.C., its owners, members, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or our services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Arizona law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Beauty Bar Skin Care & Makeup Studio, L.L.C. from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your failure to disclose a health condition that made services unsafe or inappropriate for you.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Yuma County, Arizona.
13. Severability and changes
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
SMS terms and conditions
By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Alves Wellness.
Program description
Alves Wellness sends appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, intake form links, and — if you separately opt in — occasional promotional offers.
Consent
Consent is collected through a checkbox that is not pre-selected. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and preferences. Message and data rates may apply. Alves Wellness does not charge for messages; your mobile carrier may.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further messages. You may also contact us at hello@alveswellness.com.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS consent with any third party for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Booking, cancellation and package terms
Booking
All sessions are by appointment only. No walk-ins. Adults 18 and over. Sessions are matched with a same-gender practitioner.
First visit
New clients must complete the health intake and screening form and sign the Informed Consent and Release of Liability before their first session. Sessions cannot begin without both.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Your session time is held just for you, so please give us as much notice as you can if plans change.
- Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
- A cancellation fee of up to $25 may apply for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or for missed appointments.
- We understand emergencies happen. Contact us and we will work with you.
Late arrival
Sessions run on a fixed schedule. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to end on time, and the full session price applies.
Packages
- Packages are prepaid and non-refundable.
- Packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the purchaser.
- Packages expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions after that date are forfeited.
- Package sessions have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for other services or products.
- Your remaining session balance is tracked on your client record and is available on request.
Refunds
Single sessions are non-refundable once performed. If we decline or postpone your service for health or safety reasons before a session begins, any payment for that session will be refunded or credited.
Right to refuse
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason, including health and safety concerns or inappropriate conduct.
